1NI LLDAN <br />Fina i ial $emicea <br />Trail Maintenance <br />City staff will hire a contractor to complete pavement repairs on two sections of the trail <br />between the foot bridge and San Lorenzo Creek where tree roots have damaged the <br />asphalt. The work will involve digging out small sections of pavement, trimming back tree <br />roots and installing new asphalt patches. <br />Shoreline Signs. Parking and Accessible Walkway <br />In conformance with the City's updated permit with the San Francisco Bay Conservation <br />and Development Commission (BCDC), wayfinding signage, parking, and an accessible <br />walkway will be installed for improved public access to the shoreline trail network. <br />Bench Replacement <br />As part of the upkeep of the district grounds, City staff completed the replacement of the <br />existing rotted wood benches along the pathway with durable concrete benches. This was <br />completed in Fiscal Year 2015/2016. <br />Tide Gate Repair <br />City staff completed repairs to several of the tide gates including; reconnecting the flap <br />gates and the frames, replacing rotted sections of the drain pipes, reattaching the screen <br />latch connections, replacing damaged screen bars and screens, and installing associated <br />stainless steel lubrication tubings. These repairs were completed in Fiscal Year <br />2015/2016.
