City Council Goals for the Year 2000 <br />Project Name: Library Retrofit/Renovation/Expansion <br />Project Description: Seismic retrofit, renovation and expansion of the Main Library <br />Vision/Opportunities: Renovation and expansion of the Main Library to 44,000 sq. ft. and the <br />community center/lecture hall to 33,000 sq. ft. Enhanced library services, including new <br />children's, young adult, and learning center sections. <br />Constraints: Weather. Contractor performance.
