City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: September 18, 2017 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:17-502 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY:Keith Cooke <br />Engineering & Transportation Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW:David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION Authorizing the City Manager to Enter into a Memorandum of <br />Agreement (MOA) Between the City of San Leandro and the Alameda County <br />Transportation Commission (ACTC) and Appropriating Funds from the <br />Davis/Doolittle Traffic Impact Fee Program for the Interstate 880/Davis Street <br />Interchange Landscaping Project (Provides for an Agreement with the ACTC and <br />Funding for Landscape Improvements at the Interstate 880/Davis Street <br />Interchange) <br />WHEREAS, a draft Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the City of San Leandro <br />and Alameda County Transportation Commission was presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said MOA; and <br />WHEREAS, the project requires a $135,000 local match from the City’s Davis/Doolittle <br />Traffic Impact Fee program. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />1.That said MOA substantially in the form presented is hereby approved and <br />execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and <br />2.That the City Manager is authorized to make non-substantial revisions to said MOA, <br />subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and <br />3.That an original executed MOA shall be attached to and made a part of this <br />resolution; and <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 9/12/2017
