City Council Handbook | 2017 <br /> <br /> <br />46 San Leandro City Council <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />Description of Board Duties: <br />The Commission shall: <br /> <br />(a) Hear and recommend to the Council on proposals to adopt, amend or repeal <br />a general plan for the physical development of the City; <br /> <br />(b) Exercise such functions with respect to land subdivisions, planning, zoning and <br />future right-of-way lines as are prescribed in Chapters 3, 13 and 16 of Title VII <br />of the San Leandro Municipal Code; <br /> <br />(c) Possess the powers and perform the duties prescribed by statute. <br /> <br /> <br /> MEMBERSHIP: <br /> <br /> Seven (7) Members (one member from each Council District/one at-large) <br /> Four (4) Year Term <br /> <br /> MEETING SCHEDULE: <br /> Meets third Thursday of every month; 7:00 p.m., City Hall, Council Chambers <br /> <br /> <br />84
