115 <br /> <br />6.4 DETAILS OF MITIGATION STRATEGY <br />Mitigation strategies identified by the San Leandro Planning Committee are <br />presented in the following pages. Actions are presented per their high, medium- or <br />low-priority designation. Although additional hazards have been identified as <br />potential threats in the Hazard Analysis chapter, not all threats to the City can be <br />mitigated. <br /> <br />The following information is provided for each strategy: <br /> <br /> Strategy Name: Short title to identify the action <br /> <br /> Problem Statement: Specific projects or efforts that support the action <br /> <br /> Hazards Addressed: Lists hazards whose impacts would be mitigated by the <br />action <br /> <br /> Strategy Type: Defines program development. <br /> <br /> Process/Implementation Mechanism: Funding potential <br /> <br /> Responsible Agency: City departments and divisions, along with particular <br />City staff positions that will lead implementation of the action <br /> <br /> Partners: If any applicable agencies will be involved. <br /> <br /> Priority: High, Medium or Low priority assigned to the action using criteria <br />outlined in Appendix E: Prioritization Structure <br /> <br /> Staff Lead: who will lead project <br /> <br /> Action: Proposed action <br /> <br /> Cost Estimate: Cost of project <br /> <br /> Benefits (losses avoided): Loss avoided by completing the mitigation <br />strategy <br /> <br /> Potential Funding Sources: Identifies potential funding sources to complete <br />the action; includes all sources that could possibly fund any element of the <br />action: staff time, vendor contracts, equipment purchase, etc. <br /> <br /> Timeline: Timeline and milestones to implement the action <br /> <br /> Related Policies: Links to other city plans or policies. <br /> <br />154
