Consolidate and Redesign Driveway Ramps to Improve Safety and <br />Accessibility: As the parcels along East 14th Street continue to be <br />developed, the City should encourage new businesses to reduce the <br />amount of on-site parking in front of the business and consolidate the <br />number of driveway ramps to the street. in the interim, the City can assess <br />East 14th Street to identify driveway ramps that are hazardous and should <br />be redesigned, and ramps that are no longer in use and can be removed. <br />B. Improve Crosswalks at Unsignalized Intersections: There are a number <br />of crosswalks located at unsignalized intersections that should be <br />improved by restriping the crosswalks as high visibility crosswalks <br />to increase their visibility.
