File Number: 18-119 <br />improvements appropriately. <br />City Engineer Nick Thom gave updates on active CIP projects that included the Main Library and <br />Marina Community Center A/V Equipment, Police Department Expansion and Street Overlay <br />17-18. <br />Committee Requests/Direction to Staff: <br />Committee requested that any shortfall in the Police Building / South Offices project be <br />accommodated by delaying or phasing a portion of the work, value engineering or using lower <br />quality materials should be avoided. <br />Committee members requested text for a letter to the City of Oakland regarding participation in a <br />project to pave Durant Avenue on our shared border. <br />Council Member Lopez requested that no work be done on recently paved streets and asked for <br />a future agenda item to discuss work moratoriums on said streets. <br />2.C 18-033 Discussion Regarding Future Agenda Items <br />a. I-880/Davis Interchange Landscaping Conceptual Design <br />b. AC Transit BRT Transit Center at San Leandro BART <br />c. Art Master Plan <br />3.
