A tree may be found to be <br />“significant” due to size, age, or it landscape or habitat value. Significant trees may require <br />preservation or replacement. The project would involve the removal of approximately 20 onsite <br />trees as well as three street trees. However, these trees are non-native, ornamental landscaping <br />trees and are not considered “significant” trees. The project would involve planting an additional 64 <br />trees onsite. Therefore, the project would increase the number of trees compared to existing <br />conditions. Impacts would be less than significant. <br />LESS THAN SIGNIFICANT IMPACT <br />f. Would the project conflict with the provisions of an adopted Habitat Conservation Plan, Natural <br />Community Conservation Plan, or other approved local, regional, or state habitat conservation <br />plan? <br />The project site is not located in an adopted Habitat Conservation Plan, Natural Community <br />Conservation Plan, or other approved local, regional, or state habitat conservation plan (San <br />Leandro 2016f).
