File Number: 18-190 <br />Committee Requests/Direction to Staff: <br />The committee would like targeted speed enforcement in specific location(s) and have traffic <br />officers patrol the problem areas more frequently. <br />The committee would like to review a final list of application when available before approval for <br />the next program. <br /> <br />2.C. 18-156 Staff Update on Capital Improvement Program <br />Director Cooke is waiting on more information regarding new regulations for sewer waste and <br />water treatment requirements from the Water Pollution Control Plant regarding the land for the <br />Eden Road extension to Davis Street. <br />Design contracts for the Manor Park competition pool, Farrelly pool, Boys and Girls Club pool are <br />coming along. A new UV cleaning system has been added as a County permit requirement to the <br />Boys and Girls Club pool. <br />2.C.1 18-157 Flood Protection Project Status <br />Chief Building Official Jerome Smith indicated that the flood maps were preliminarily approved <br />last year, and informed the committee that Oakland airport and some of the municipalities <br />indicated the data was incorrect. The flood maps were preliminarily approved but delayed <br />several months now. <br />Director Cooke discussed the changes to the map based on the assessments and design work <br />on Neptune Drive near the Marina, working with the County on the levee work, survey work near <br />the plant, and on the Mission Bay mobile home park. <br />2.D. 18-158 Discussion Regarding Future Agenda Items <br />3.
