To date, these four organizations have met or exceeded their <br />annual objectives and provide needed services that are vital to the community. <br />Public Services: <br />CALICO - Child Abuse Intervention Project - $22,260 <br />·Provides family support services for children who have suffered abuse. <br />Davis Street Family Resource Center - Basic Needs Program - $39,233 <br />·Provides food, clothing, childcare, job readiness training, medical and mental health <br />clinics, and social services to low-income people. <br />SOS/Meals on Wheels - Meal Delivery to Homebound Seniors - $45,743 <br />·Provides support services to low income seniors. <br />General Administration: <br />ECHO Housing - Fair Housing Counseling - $10,000 <br />·Provides fair housing services. <br />Current Agency Policies <br />Current Council policy is defined by the FY 2015-2019 Consolidated Plan, adopted by Resolution <br />No. 2015-080 on April 20, 2015. <br />Previous Actions <br />On June 4, 2018, the City Council approved the FY 2016-2017 Action Plan, which contains the <br />four programs/projects described above. <br />Environmental Review <br />National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) environmental reviews of each project are <br />complete. <br />Board/Commission Review and Actions <br />On April 26, 2017, the Human Services Commission recommended that the CALICO, Davis <br />Street Family Resource Center and SOS/Meals on Wheels public service projects/activities be <br />awarded CDBG funds under the CAP Program for FY 2017-2019. ECHO does not need to apply <br />for funding under the CAP Program because it is helping the City fulfill its federal mandate to <br />affirmatively further fair housing. <br />Fiscal Impacts <br />The sum of these four grants will cost $117,236.
