City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: July 16, 2018 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:18-347 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Jeff Kay <br />Acting City Manager <br />BY:Jeanette Dong <br />Recreation and Human Services Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW:David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION of the City Council for the City of San Leandro to Approve the City <br />of San Leandro Human Services Commission’s Recommendations for the <br />Community Assistance Program (CAP) Grants for 2018-19 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the important work of the City’s health and human <br />services community-based organizations in creating a safety net for the City’s most vulnerable <br />populations; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council supports efforts to address the following areas: mental <br />health, hunger, shelter, safety net health care, domestic violence and other areas of need in San <br />Leandro; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received and acknowledged the need for certain health and <br />human services as identified in the Human Services Gap Analysis (2017). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the City Manager is authorized to enter into (CAP) Grant agreements for 2018-19 <br />with the Recipients identified in the associated staff report, as recommended by the Human <br />Services Commission to the City Council, for a total amount of $150,000 in account <br />010-61-014-8513 in the 2018-19 adopted budget. <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 7/10/2018
