AGREEMENT BETWEEN MEMBERS OF THE EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT GROUP <br />AND THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO TO SHARE THE COSTS OF THE EMPLOYER <br />CONTRIBUTION PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 20516 <br />The undersigned member of the City of San Leandro Executive Management <br />Group, the City Manager (“Executive Management Member”), and the City of San <br />Leandro, hereby agree that effective on such date as CalPERS approves a contract <br />amendment implementing a cost sharing agreement pursuant to the California Public <br />Employees’ Retirement Law (“PERL”), including specifically but not limited to California <br />Government Code Section 20516 (“Section 20516”), Executive Unit Member shall pay <br />two percent (2%) of compensation towards the City of San Leandro employer contribution <br />rate pursuant to Section 20516. The foregoing two percent (2%) shall be over and above <br />the normal contribution rate required by PERL; and <br />Effective July 1, 2019, Executive Management Member shall pay an additional one <br />percent (1%) of compensation, for a total contribution of 11%, towards the City of San <br />Leandro employer contribution rate pursuant to Section 20516. The aggregate three <br />percent (3%) shall be over and above the normal contribution rate required by PERL. <br />CITY OF SAN LEANDRO: <br />______________________________________ <br />Pauline R.
