EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS <br />Comply <br />Based upon the location, the City’s requirement is for the proposer to install an <br />integrated single space parking technology and hardware solution. <br />Parking technology features must include the following: <br />a) Payment must be available through multiple options, including coin, credit card and <br />mobile payment integration. <br />b) Meters must have the ability to store a minimum of 8 different rate structures. <br />c) A large screen display is preferred in order for rate information to be displayed, rather <br />than signs posted on the meter. <br />d) Pre-payment option (payments made in advance of operating hours). <br />e) All technology must be simple to understand and easy to use. <br />f) All technology must be reliable, easy to maintain and secure. <br />g) All technology shall be able to electronically display the following to the patron with <br />minimal effort: <br />i. rates <br />ii. days and hours of operation <br />iii. user instructions <br />h) Proposers must offer strong customer support 7 days a week including holidays. <br />i) Changing rates using the Meter Management System (MMS) shall be completely <br />webbased (no software to install), easy to use with customizable tariff naming and the <br />ability to download rates onto customizable, user-defined groups of meters. <br />j) All technology, equipment and systems shall be ADA-compliant. <br />k) All materials and components shall be new and unused. <br />l) All technology shall have a modular design. Components shall be able to be quickly <br />changed in the field. <br />m) All electronic components, connections and wiring shall be fully weatherproofed. <br />n) The meters shall be weather, rust and graffiti resistant and shall be made of stainless <br />steel or an equivalent material. <br />o) It is preferred that the meter has illumination for dark hour usage. Proposer shall <br />describe how the lighting and/or display operates during dark hours. <br />see below <br /> <br />
