File Number: 18-495 <br />Committee Requests/Direction to Staff: <br />Proceed with concrete improvements at Park Street and West Broadmoor. <br />Mayor Cutter would like the committee to look into transitioning to an electrical vehicle fleet as <br />well as adding EV charging station capabilities, Fire Station housing improvements, downtown <br />wayfinding. <br />Committee would like to assess other gateway locations in downtown or high foot traffic areas for <br />rainbow crosswalks. Washington/Parrot, Parrott/Hays, and MacArthur/Dutton are possible <br />locations. <br />2.D.18-492 Discussion Regarding Future Agenda Items <br />·Discussion on Small Cells <br /> <br />Committee Requests/Direction to Staff: <br />Mayor Cutter suggested beautification improvements needed at the San Leandro BART station <br />due to their recent electrical project and an accumulation of trash and litter. She would like to <br />replace or add additional bike lockers in the area. <br />3. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Public comments regarding small cells location and petition collection; beautification <br />improvements to include Marina exit; pavement and traffic issues, and questions around street <br />sealing. <br /> <br />4. COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS <br />The councilmembers thanked Engineering and Transportation Director Keith Cooke for his work <br />on project coordination and identifying available funding with ACTC. <br />Vice Mayor Cox appreciated plans for future project funding. <br />Captain Jamie Knox commended Engineering staff for the work done with the South Offices <br />building. <br /> <br />5.
