City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: December 3, 2018 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:18-599 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Jeff Kay <br />City Manager <br />BY:David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW:David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council to Authorize the City <br />Manager to Enter into a Service Agreement with HdL Companies to Provide <br />Business License Tax Administration Services Not to Exceed Amount of <br />$125,000 and to Appropriate Funds from the General Fund Economic <br />Uncertainty Fund Balance in the Amount of $125,000 <br />WHEREAS, the City in accordance with its purchasing provisions identified HdL <br />Companies to provide Business License Tax Administration Services; and <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to enter into an agreement with HdL Companies for said <br />work; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the terms of the agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />1.That said agreement in an amount not to exceed $125,000 is hereby approved; and <br />2.That the terms of the agreement will be memorialized in writing by the City Manager, <br />subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and <br />3.That the City Manager is authorized to execute said agreement; and <br />4.That an original executed agreement shall be provided to the City Clerk, and be attached <br />to and made a part of this resolution; and <br />5.That an appropriation of $125,000 from the General Fund Economic Uncertainty Fund <br />Balance Reserves shall be transferred to 010-12-051-5120 and made a part of this <br />resolution. <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 11/27/2018
