3.0 ENVIRONMENTAL CHECKLIST <br />City of San Leandro 1388 Bancroft Avenue Project <br />November 2018 Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration <br />3.0-61 <br />be used in static mode only (no vibrations) when within 25 feet of any existing off-site structure. <br />With implementation of mitigation measure MM NOI-1, the project would not result in the <br />exposure of persons to or generation of excessive groundborne vibration or groundborne <br />noise levels. The impact would be less than significant with mitigation incorporated. <br />d) Less Than Significant Impact. Construction activities would consist of demolition of the existing buildings, site preparation (including grading), removal of existing parking lot <br />surfaces, and construction of the new residential building. Construction equipment would <br />include backhoes, bulldozers, front-end loaders, scrapers, graders, and compacting equipment. Typical operating cycles for these types of construction equipment may <br />involve 1 or 2 minutes of full power operation followed by several minutes at lower power <br />settings. Project construction activities would be a source of noise and vibration that could <br />affect off-site noise-sensitive receptors.
