File Number: 19-022 <br />Mayor Cutter recommends incorporating backup parking spaces and possible charging stations <br />for limited parking, and energy resources for EV Charging stations at the proposed Park & Ride <br />lot. <br />Mayor Cutter would like to review studies and pilots shuttles completed by Alameda CTC to help <br />with funding for bicycle lockers, parking lots for spaces displaced by AC Transit’s BRT, <br />pedestrian lighting, and ferry services. <br />2.C. 19-024 Staff update on Land Use Projects <br />Principal Engineer Michael Stella provided an update on Land Use Projects. He specifically <br />discussed additional funding available from Alameda CTC for the I-880 freeway interchange <br />landscaping projects that will allow the Marina Boulevard interchange to be added to the <br />scope-of-work. <br /> <br />Committee Requests/Direction to Staff: <br />Mayor Cutter requested the addition of trees and greenery to sound walls at the Davis Street <br />interchange. <br /> <br />2.D.19-025 Staff update on Project Development Projects. <br /> City Engineer Nick Thom provided an update on Project Development Projects. <br /> <br />Committee Requests/Direction to Staff: <br />Mayor Cutter would like to have a joint use agreement in place for Farrelly Pool. <br /> <br />2.E.19-026 Discussion Regarding Future Agenda Items <br /> <br />The next meeting will be devoted to presentations by AC Transit and BART on the East Bay BRT <br />and improvements at the San Leandro BART station. In addition, the following items may be <br />discussed at a future meeting: <br />·Neptune Drive FEMA Flood Control Project <br />·ACTC Transportation Improvement Plan <br />·Eden Road <br />·Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program <br />·Crosswalk Request and recommendation <br />·Bicycle Network - West <br /> <br />Committee Requests/Direction to Staff: <br />Mayor and the Committee members would like to review BRT roadway plans prior to the meeting <br />with AC Transit at the next Committee meeting.
