6 <br />Project Name CALICO - San Leandro Child Abuse Intervention Project <br />Target Area City-Wide <br />Goals Supported Community Development Needs Goals <br />Needs Addressed Community Development Needs - Public Services <br />Funding CDBG: $22,000 <br />Description CALICO, the Child Abuse Listening, Interviewing, and Coordination Center, provides family support <br />services to improve mental health outcomes for San Leandro children and their families who have <br />suffered from abuse. <br />Target Date 6/30/2020 <br />Estimate the number and type Fifty (50) abused children and thirty-six (36) caregivers will receive critical family support services, <br />of families that will benefit from which includes forensic interviews. <br />the proposed activities <br />Location Description CALICO Interview Center, 524 Estudillo Avenue, San Leandro, CA 94577 <br />Planned Activities CALICO's Family Resource Specialist (FRS), a skilled mental health clinician, will provide critical <br /> therapeutic interventions that can place 50 abused children on the path of healthy adulthoods.
