IN TIIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2019-102 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE THE <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) AGREEMENTS FOR FISCAL <br />YEAR 2019-2020 BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND CDBG SUB -RECIPIENTS <br />FOR PUBLIC SERVICES GRANTS TO THE CHILI) ABUSE LISTENING, INTERVIEWING, <br />AND COORDINATION CENTER (CALICO) FOR $22,000; DAVIS STREET FAMILY <br />RESOURCE CENTER FOR S42,941; SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES FOR SENIORS, INC. <br />(SOS/MEALS ON WHEELS) FOR S29,000; SPECTRUM COMMUNITY SERVICES (SAN <br />LEANDRO SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAM) FOR S17,500; AND EDEN COUNCIL FOR <br />HOPE AND OPPORTUNITY (ECHO HOUSING) FOR S10,000 (APPROVES 5 AGREEMENTS <br />TOTALING 5121,441) <br />WHEREAS, the final Annual Action Plan (referred to hereinafter as "the Plan") was adopted on <br />May 6, 2019 by Resolution No. 2019-075 reflecting the activities that the City plans to find and <br />implement during FY 2019 2020, a copy of which is attached hereto; and <br />WHEREAS, CDBG public services agreements between the City of San Leandro and Child <br />Abuse Listening, Interviewing, and Coordination Center (CAL,ICO); Davis Street Family Resource <br />Center•, Service Opportunities for Seniors, Inc. (SOS/ Meals on Wheels); Spectrum Community Services <br />(San Leandro Senior Nutrition Program); and Eden Council for hope and Opportunity Llousing (ECHO <br />Housing) are presented to the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and. <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That said agreements are hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby <br />authorized for the CDBG public services grant amounts of $22,000 for CALICO; $42,941 for Davis <br />Street Family Resource Center; $29,000 for SOS/Meals on Wheels; $17,500 for Spectrum Community <br />Services and $10,000 for ECHO Housing fair housing services, as further provided in the associated staff <br />report. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Cox and passed and adopted this 17th day of June 2019, by the <br />following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: COuncllmembers Aguilar, Ballew, Cox, Hernandez, Lee, Lopez; Mayor Cutter (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />a <br />[M, tii i I.
