File Number: 19-381 <br />transportation devices as options become available in the future. <br />2.D. 19-386 Staff Update on Project Development Projects <br /> <br />City Engineer Nick Thom provided a staff update on Project Development Projects and <br />specifically Farrelly Pool. <br /> <br />Committee Requests/Direction to Staff: <br />Mayor Cutter commented about completing the excavation and demolition before school begins <br />due to noise of construction for the Farrelly pool during the school year. <br />Vice Mayor Lopez referenced reviewing options on the bids made on Farrelly Pool before giving <br />a recommendation back to the committee. <br /> <br />Mayor Cutter proposed the City reject all bids and proceed with a rebid on the Farrelly Pool <br />project. Results of the bids will be provided at the next Council meeting. <br /> <br />2.E. 19-387 Staff Update on Land Development Projects <br />Due to the length of the meeting the Update on the Land Development Projects was postponed <br />until the next meeting. <br /> <br />Committee Requests/Direction to Staff: <br /> <br />2.F. 19-388 Discussion Regarding Future Agenda Items <br />Director Keith Cooke discussed agenda items for the next Facilities & Transportation Meeting. <br />Next Facilities and Transportation meeting will be scheduled in later July as a special meeting. <br />Future items to include: <br />a. Neptune Drive FEMA Flood Control Project <br />b. Eden Road <br />c. Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program <br />d. Crosswalk Request and Recommendations <br />e. Bicycle Network - West <br />f. Automatic Red-Light Enforcement <br /> <br />3. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Mr. Mike Santos listed accomplishments of his father, former Mayor Tony Santos. He also <br />detailed his service as a council member to the community over the years. On behalf of his <br />mother and himself, he declined the offer of naming a play area in Grover Cleveland Park after his <br />father and requested consideration of renaming the park. <br />Ms. Sarah Bailey and Estudillo Estates HOA President Bahar Navab discussed concerns about <br />the plans for an enhanced pedestrian crosswalk at the Haas and Bancroft intersection. And <br />provided comments regarding the bus stop location, to increase pedestrian safety and options to <br />work-around established city street trees. <br />4.
