Miguel - City Clerk <br />Liz Warmerdam - Assistant City Manager <br />Jeff Kay - City Manager <br />Announcements1.B. <br />Councilmember Ballew announced his conflict with the Rules Committee meeting date <br />and would like to revisit re-scheduling the meeting dates. <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS2. <br />2.A.19-425 Presentation by the City Attorney on the Intimidating Solicitation <br />Ordinance <br />Jordyn A. Bishop, Associate, presented the Analysis of San Leandro’s Intimidating <br />Solicitation Ordinance and responded to questions from the Committee members. <br />RULES COMMITTEE COMMENTS: <br />a. The Committee supports an approach that will look at repealing the current <br />solicitation ordinance and replacing it with a content neutral law. <br />b. The Committee requested this item return with further study done on traffic volumes <br />and a closer look at accident data and levels of service. <br />The Committee recommends the item will move forward with the repealing of the <br />current ordinance, and return for further review to the Rules Committee with an updated <br />Page 1City of San Leandro <br />23
