The City of San Leandro has a standard title block and standard size sheet (24”x36”). The <br />contractor shall use both for all sheets of the plans. <br />b. All drawings will be produced in AutoCad latest version. All xref drawings, pe n-setting files, <br />attached images, fonts, and other files associated with the AutoCAD files shall also be sent to the <br />City to allow for accurate plotting of the drawings. <br />c. All plans shall be drafted in accordance with Consultant’s CAD standards. Text shall not be written <br />over lines or other text. Existing items/work/features shall be clearly labeled as such. Text shall <br />plot at 3/32” tall minimum. Details shall not be called as similar unless the actual detail clearly <br />notes what occurs at the similar location. Details shall be cut with the proper orientation. Details <br />with reverse orientation shall be noted as OH (opposite hand) on the drawings. Words shall be <br />completely spelled out unless an abbreviation is defined on the drawings. <br />d. Technical Specification shall be either Caltrans Standard Specifications format or Greenbook <br />format. Front end specifications (administrative) shall be prepared by the City. Consultant shall <br />prepare all other specifications. Consultant shall coordinate the work with the front end <br />specifications prepared by the City. Performance specifications are prohibited. Specifications shall <br />be coordinated with the plans. <br />e. Specifications shall be written and printed with times new roman font at 11 point minimum. <br />Specifications shall be edited such that only materials, procedures, and execution specific to this <br />project are included. <br />f. Cost estimates shall break down the scope of work in sufficient detail to allow City staff to verify the <br />cost of the individual work items. <br /> <br /> <br />81
