File Number: 19-519 <br />90 percent of awarded funds to community-based organizations. Community-based <br />organizations (CBOs) that receive these funds must deliver services in underserved communities <br />with high rates of juvenile arrests. The services include diversion programs and alternatives to <br />arrest, incarceration, and formal involvement with the juvenile justice system, educational <br />services, including academic and vocational services, mentoring services, behavioral health <br />services and mental health services. <br />The City of San Leandro as the applicant, and the San Leandro Unified School District as the <br />lead agency, were awarded the Youth Reinvestment Grant.
