B. New or Modifications to the fire alarm system requires a "Deferred Submittal". <br />C. The CO2 detection system requires a Deferred Submittal. <br />D. Fire hydrants shall be provided as indicated on the plans. <br />E. The use of Flammable liquids, Combustible liquids, compressed gases, aerosols, <br />hazardous materials, CNG, and LPG must be maintained in proper cabinets/ <br />storage rooms. <br />F. All pathways/ walkways (i.e., means of egress routes) to the public way shall be <br />provided with emergency lighting. <br />G. All walkways/ pathways shall be all-weather, level, and illuminated with <br />emergency lighting as well as normal lighting. <br />H. Emergency lighting shall be provided in all building providing an average of 1 <br />foot candle at the floor. <br />I. Illuminated Exit signs shall be provided on the interior of building indicating the <br />means of egress route. <br />J. Fire Extinguishers shall be provided in weather proof cabinets with a rating of 2A <br />IOB:C and a travel distance not to exceed 75 feet for all common areas of light <br />hazard areas (office areas). 4A 40B:C shall be provided for high hazard area <br />(warehouse, repair garage). <br />K. The driveways less than 28 feet are required to be designated as a Fire Lane. The <br />"Fire Lane" shall be identified with either a posted sign every 100 feet or painted <br />red curb with the appropriate CVC code section. <br />L. Existing fire hydrants on-site shall be accessible at all times. <br />M. A Knox Box shall be provided for the buildings and access gates. <br />V. PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Designated trash area(s) shall be in a location that is not visible from the street. <br />Trash area(s) should be easily accessible to collection vehicles. Driveways shall <br />provide unobstructed access for collection vehicles. Applicant must ensure that <br />there is adequate space for a collection vehicle to enter and exit the property in <br />order to service containers. <br />B. Bin storage shall be located to be the least obtrusive/visible from a public <br />roadway.
