<br /> 95 <br />In matters where a difference between this Zoning Code and the latest version of the 1961 <br />Zoning Code occurs in interpreting property development issues in the RO District, the latest <br />version of the 1961 Zoning Code shall apply. (Ord. 2001-015 § 1) <br /> <br />2.04.376 RO District—Additional Setback and Lot Coverage Requirements <br /> <br />For lots exceeding 60 feet in width, the following additional setback and lot coverage re- <br />quirements apply: <br /> <br />A. Side yards shall be 10 percent of lot width up to a maximum of 12 feet. <br /> <br />B. Rear yards shall be 10 feet or 10 percent of lot depth, whichever is greater, up to a <br />maximum of 25 feet. <br /> <br />C. On the rear one-quarter of a lot where the rear yard abuts the front yard of another, the <br />side yard shall be not less than 20 feet wide. <br /> <br />D. The total lot coverage, calculated as explained in the definition of lot coverage, shall <br />not exceed one-third (of the area of the lot). Where animals are housed in tiers, three- <br />fourths of the area of each tier above the first shall be counted as additional lot cover- <br />age. (Ord. 2001-015 § 1) <br /> <br />2.04.380 RO District—Accessory Structures <br /> <br />Accessory buildings may be placed on any part of the lot except within 60 feet of the front <br />lot line, but shall not be located within 15 feet of a dwelling or within 10 feet of another <br />accessory building. In the case of a corner lot, where the rear yard abuts the front yard of <br />another lot, no accessory building shall project beyond the front setback required on such <br />other lot. Accessory buildings may not exceed 15 feet in height. Accessory structures shall <br />not occupy more than 40 percent of the required rear or side yard area in the aggregate, <br />and no single structure may occupy more than 30 percent of the required yard areas. In <br />determining coverage, one-half of the roofed area of a building open on at least two sides <br />shall be excluded. (Ord. 2001-015 § 1) <br /> <br />2.04.384 RO District—Additional Dwelling Units <br /> <br />A. Minimum Lot Size and Minimum Area for Each Unit. <br /> <br />1. One additional single-family dwelling may occupy a lot having an area not less <br />than twelve thousand (12,000) square feet of 12,000 square feet or greater; or <br /> <br />2. One additional two-family dwelling may occupy a lot having an area not less than <br />fourteen thousand (14,000) square feet of 14,000 square feet or greater; and <br /> <br />City Council Hearing March 2, 2020 133
