SAN LEANDRO SHORELINE DEVELOPMENT EIR ADDENDUM PROJECT <br />CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />o The parcel size for the new two-story restaurant and banquet facility is anticipated to be <br />20,131 square feet, while the gross building square feet would be approximately 15,000 <br />square feet, resulting in a FAR of 0.75. <br />■ 3,000 square -foot market located at the northwest corner of Mulford Point Drive and Monarch Bay <br />Drive. <br />o The proposed parcel size for the market is 6,019 square feet, while the gross building <br />square feet would be approximately 3,000 square feet, resulting in a FAR of 0.50. <br />Existing public access includes a segment of the Bay Trail, which is a planned 500 -mile walking cycling <br />path around the entire San Francisco Bay.' The project would result in new public access amenities and <br />provide connections to the Bay Trail. Proposed improvements include: <br />• Re -designed executive 9 -hole golf course <br />• New approximately 9 -acre Monarch Bay Park at the end of Mulford Point Drive <br />• Public promenade (2 miles in length, with a minimum width of 20 feet) <br />• Social plaza <br />• Pedestrian/bicycle bridge across the existing harbor entrance <br />• Natural shoreline element along the interior borders of the harbor basin <br />• Boardwalk/lookout pier (existing) <br />• Kayak storage building adjacent to the boat launch <br />• Aeration fountain(s) in harbor basin to aid in water circulation <br />• Marina green <br />• Picnic areas <br />• Public restrooms <br />• A 2,500 -square -foot community library/community meeting space on the site of the current library <br />• New ADA -compliant boat launch <br />• Public parking for approximately 208 stalls and 16 boat trailer stalls, which includes shared parking <br />for the two-story restaurant and banquet facility (80 spaces) <br />Decommissioning and demolition work, construction phasing, and required permitting described in the <br />project description of the 2015 Certified EIR would remain applicable to the Modified Project. <br />z Bay Trail. 2020.
