<br />Residential Hotels. Buildings with six or more guest rooms without kitchen facilities in in-
<br />dividual rooms, or kitchen facilities for the exclusive use of guests, and which are also the
<br />primary residences of the hotel guests.
<br />
<br />Residuals Repositories for Hazardous Waste: A hazardous waste disposal facility for
<br />collection of residual wastes, defined as the residues from hazardous waste treatment fa-
<br />cilities after treatment, and other irreducible stabilized or detoxified hazardous wastes.
<br />
<br />Restaurants, Full-Service. An establishment which serves food or beverages for con-
<br />sumption primarily on the premises. Food is cooked or prepared on the premises on a cus-
<br />tomer-demand basis. Generally, seating and tables for on-premises customer dining is pro-
<br />vided, with table service (waiters or waitresses) and non-disposable tableware. This classi-
<br />fication does not include Bars, Fast Food Establishments, or Cafés (see “Bars”, “Fast Food
<br />Establishments, Large Scale” and “Fast Food Establishments, Small Scale” and “Cafés”).

<br />Retail Sales. The retail sale of merchandise not specifically listed under another use clas-
<br />sification. This classification includes, but is not limited to, clothing stores, quality re-sale
<br />consignment stores, and businesses retailing the following goods: toys, hobby supplies,
<br />handcrafted items, gift items, jewelry, books, cameras, photographic supplies, music media,
<br />videos, sporting goods (excluding uses where gun and ammunition sale are the primary use
<br />- see “Gun or Weapon Shop” definition), kitchen utensils, hardware, antiques and vintage
<br />clothing stores, art supplies and services, musical instruments, supplies, and services, office
<br />supplies, and bicycles.

<br />Retail Sales, Big Box. Large-scale discount or wholesale stores that primarily serve a re-
<br />gional market.
<br />
<br />Retail Sales, Outdoor. Retail sales of new merchandise on the site of a legally established
<br />retail business.
<br />
<br />Retail Services. Provision of services of a personal nature. This classification includes bar-
<br />ber and beauty shops, tattoo studios, seamstresses, tailors, shoe repair shops, dry cleaning
<br />businesses (excluding large-scale plants), photocopying, and self-service laundries. Retail
<br />services excludes coin-operated self-service laundries and coin-operated dry cleaning busi-
<br />nesses.
<br />
<br />Reverse Vending Machine(s). is An automated mechanical device that accepts at least
<br />one or more types of empty beverage containers such as aluminum cans, glass and plastic
<br />bottles, and issues a cash refund or a redeemable credit slip. A reverse vending machine
<br />may sort and process containers mechanically, provided that the entire process is enclosed
<br />within the machine. Also see Section 4.04.232 Recycling Facilities.

<br />A. Single-Feed Reverse Vending Machine. is Designed to accept individual containers
<br />one at a time.
