camera and a report will be prepared per NASSCO Pipeline Assessment Certification
Program (PACP) guidelines.
Task 2.7: Conduct CCTV inspection of 36" SE Line: Underwater Resources,
Inc., a subconsultant to LEE & RO, will perform a diver and remote submersible
ROV sonar condition assessment of approximately 365 LF of existing 36" SE line
from Effluent Box at Secondary Clarifier No. 1 to the Effluent Pump Station inside
WPCP. The diver with ROV submersible will conduct ROV/Sonar survey along
fully submerged SE line including the inverted siphon portion in the middle third
section. If the condition is not adequately documented due to sediments and/or
water turbidity, divers would conduct tactile inspection and use a "clear water" box
over CCTV camera/digital still cameras to optimize. Removal of any sediment and
siphon dewatering will be provided as an optional service and is not included in the
scope.
Task 2.8: Shoring Methods Evaluation: Brierley Associates, a subconsultant to LEE &
RO, will evaluate and recommend appropriate shoring methods to suit soil conditions and
utility clearances, while protecting the underground utilities in place. It is noted that the
60" storm drain parallel with the existing sanitary sewer lines in Davis Street is backfilled,
at least in some areas, with pea gravel.
Task 2.9: Prepare Predesign Report: LEE & RO shall prepare a preliminary design
report summarizing the findings and recommendations of initial investigation. The
preliminary design report will define the basis of design and design criteria. A draft
predesign report will be submitted to the City for review and comments. Final report will
be prepared by incorporation the City's comments on the draft report. An Engineer's
estimate of probable construction cost and a preliminary construction schedule will be
included in the report.
Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and Last revised 02/28/2020
Lee & Ro for SE Line Replacement and Davis St. Manhole Replacement Exhibit A - Page 4 of 8
