Q. The parking lot of the premises shall be equipped with lighting of sufficient <br />power to illuminate and make easily discernible the appearance and conduct of all <br />person on or about the parking lot. Additionally, the position of such lighting shall <br />not disturb the normal privacy and use of any neighboring residences. <br />R. Owner and business shall be responsible for the posting of all signage, pursuant to <br />Business and Professions Code Section 25612.5. <br />S. The business, owners, employees and operators will cooperate fully with the San <br />Leandro Police Department regarding any criminal or community -related matters. <br />T. Applicant and/or property owner shall register and participate in the "Crime -free <br />Business Program" or its equivalent with the San Leandro Police Department. <br />U. Signs, no less than 2'x2' in size with black lettering, no less than 2" in size on a <br />contrasting background shall be conspicuously posed on the exterior of the building, <br />visible from the parking lot and any rear access to the building, which state, "No <br />Loitering, No Littering, No Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages — Violators <br />Subject to Arrest." This shall be posted in English and Spanish. <br />V. Loitering is prohibited on or around these premises or this area under the control <br />of the licensee(s) as depicted on the ABC -257 and ABC -253. <br />W. The license, owner and business shall keep the property, adjacent to the licensed <br />premises and under the control of the licensee(s) as depicted on ABC -253 clear of <br />newspaper racks, pay telephones, and any other objects which may encourage <br />loitering. <br />X. Applicant shall comply with the City's Tobacco Ordinance, San Leandro <br />Municipal Code Chapter 4-36 Tobacco Retailers: <br />hqp:Hqcode.us/codes/sanleandro/view.php?topic=4- <br />4 36&showAll=1&frames=off. <br />IX. CONSTRUCTION PROVISIONS <br />A. Pest and vermin control shall be instituted prior to the demolition and construction <br />of the project. <br />B. During construction the following high standards for sanitation are required: <br />Garbage cans, construction dumpsters, and debris piles shall be removed on a <br />minimum weekly basis. All food related trash items such as wrappers, cans, bottles, <br />and food scraps shall be disposed of in closed containers only and shall be regularly <br />removed from the site. At no time shall debris remain on site unattended within <br />the front yard setback of the property. Inspections will be conducted as part of the <br />regular construction compliance, to ensure compliance of the Applicant and <br />contractors with this requirement. <br />C. Construction activity shall not commence prior to 7:00 a.m. and shall cease by 7:00 <br />p.m. Monday through Friday, and construction activity shall not commence prior to <br />Agreement to Conditions January 14, 2020 <br />PLN19-0050 Page 9 of 12 <br />
