RESOLUTION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2020-046 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH CSG CONSULTANTS, INC. FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $248,847 FOR THE DESIGN OF THE WASHINGTON AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 2018.4020; TO AUTHORIZE INDIVIDUAL AGREEMENT AMENDMENTS UP TO 10% ($24,884); AND TO AUTHORIZE CUMULATIVE AGREEMENT AMENDMENTS UP TO 15% ($37,327) (PROVIDES AUTHORIZATION FOR THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CSA WITH CSG CONSULTANTS, INC. TO PREPARE THE CIVIL ENGINEERING DESIGN FOR THE WASHINGTON AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT) WHEREAS, the City Council has indicated that streets are a critical component of the City's infrastructure and their condition is an important factor in the quality of life for the residents and the vitality of local businesses; and WHEREAS, the City was awarded a Federal One Bay Area Grant and is required to ensure the completion of the Washington Avenue Reconstruction Project; and WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and CSG Consultants, Inc., a copy of which is attached, was presented to this City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That said City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to reject all of said proposals except that herein mentioned; negotiate, approve, and execute the agreement for the civil engineering design services with CSG Consultants, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $248,847; and That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve individual agreement amendments to the consulting services agreement up to 10% (or $24,884) of the original agreement amount; and That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve agreement amendments to the consulting services agreement up to a cumulative value not to exceed 15% (or $37,327) of the original agreement amount.
