Councilmember Lopez asked AC Transit for clarification on whether the <br />deployment wheelchair ramp at the island stop is manually or power-operated <br />by the operator. <br />b. Due to the increased litter at San Leandro BART station, Mayor Cutter <br />asked AC Transit if garbage cans would be added back since they were taken <br />out during construction. <br />c. With the construction delays, Councilmember Cox asked if AC Transit <br />needed councilmembers to intervene to discuss matters with BART. <br />d. Councilmember Lopez asked if operators have room to prepare their meals <br />based on the proposed bathroom floor plan. <br />e. Senior Services Recreation Supervisor Susan Criswell asked AC Transit to <br />clarify Paratransit alternative stops as well as Flex and Kaiser shuttle services <br />during construction. Susan will provide vehicle measurements to AC Transit to <br />ensure the size will not compromise the operator with the multimodal design <br />of the shuttle commuter zone with BART. <br />3.B.20-180 Discussion of the E. 14th Street (North Area) Pedestrian Lighting Project <br />PresentationAttachments: <br />a. Engineering and Transportation Director Keith Cooke recommended using <br />the horizontal lighting intensity standard. Potential additional funding from the <br />County will allow the City to upgrade to a vertical lighting intensity standard in <br />the future. <br />b.
