They continue to do phased <br />reopening. The new Kaiser Lab in Berkeley will be able to take in all the testing from <br />the all Northern California Kaisers. <br />Red Cross reported that they continue to be prepared for sheltering in COVID time and <br />that if you give blood, your blood will be tested for COVID antibodies which can be <br />harvested to treat people with the disease. The website, redcrossblood.org, has a list <br />of locations blood drives in the East Bay. <br />San Leandro Hospital and Davis Street Family Resource Center – not available for <br />reports <br />School Districts <br />•San Leandro <br />•San Lorenzo <br />2.E. <br />San Leandro Unified reported that all programs are going well – deep cleaning and <br />disinfecting, construction projects, and food distribution, which has leveled off to a <br />consistent number. The summer school program has started via distance learning, <br />with more than double attending and packets have been picked up by students. The <br />District has convened three reopening taskforces to address the reopening process <br />and schools are looking at all guidelines to reopen. The development of a <br />comprehensive plan that will optimize the safety of staff and students, as well as <br />maximize the delivery of educational services is in progress. <br />San Lorenzo Unified reported that they are looking at different options for reopening <br />and have set up different committees to assist. A survey went out to the community <br />and staff asking about reopening.
