June 18, 2020Disaster Council Minutes <br />Chamber of Commerce reported that businesses are excited to open, but there are <br />challenges to be in compliance. The Chamber is waiting for Economic Development to <br />provide guidance and to ABC to clarify regarding outdoor seating and service, including <br />when do site plans need to be completed. The Chamber started a program called Art <br />for Change for businesses who would like to have art on their boards or windows with <br />any messaging they would like to share, using volunteer artists and donated paint. <br />First United Methodist extended their condolences. They are working with Building <br />Futures in order to assist with maintaining social distancing. This is Rev. Myrna <br />Bernadel-Huey’s last meeting because she has been reassigned to Alameda and Dr. <br />Henry Kim will be taking over.
