McDaniel <br />Announcements1.B. <br />Members of the Disaster Council introduced themselves and the agencies they <br />represent. <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS2. <br />City of San Leandro response to COVID-19 <br />• San Leandro City Council <br />2.A. <br />Mayor Cutter shared that she had been on a call with the Mayors group and one of the <br />cities was discussing how they are using the rapid testing for the schools. <br />Vice Mayor Ballew shared that he is looking ahead to how we will be transiting back <br />into normalcy and the City should be developing a plan about how to hold in person <br />meetings safely. <br />Councilmember Lopez thanked Terri for assistance in making connections with the <br />media. She also asked how the County is addressing the hygiene for high contact <br />areas in the public settings. <br />Alameda County <br />• Office of Emergency Services <br />• Alameda County Fire Department <br />• Alameda Public Health Department <br />2.B. <br />Alameda County OES reported that there were 21,323 cases, 408 deaths, 79 <br />hospitalizations (down), 5 new cases for 100,000, within the county and there is <br />4,000-5,000 test being performed daily and the overall positivity rate is 2.3%.
