City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: December 14, 2020 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:20-550 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Jeff Kay <br />City Manager <br />BY:Keith Cooke <br />Engineering & Transportation Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW:Susan Hsieh <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council to Authorize the City <br />Manager to Enter into a Project Funding Agreement with the Alameda County <br />Transportation Commission for Discretionary Funding Related to the COVID-19 <br />Rapid Response Bicycle/Pedestrian Grant Program; to Appropriate $75,000 in <br />Grant Funds; and to Appropriate $75,000 of Matching Funds from Measure B <br />Bike and Ped Fund Balance. (provides for an Agreement with the Alameda <br />County Transportation Commission to provide $75,000 grant for the design and <br />installation of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons for four crosswalks locations <br />in the City) <br />WHEREAS, on October 30, 2020, Alameda County Transportation Commission (ACTC) <br />granted the City of San Leandro $75,000 in discretionary funds to design and install Rectangular <br />Rapid Flashing Beacons for four crosswalks in the City; and <br />WHEREAS, ACTC requires an agreement in order to distribute the grant funds; and <br />WHEREAS, ACTC requires the City to provide a 1:1 match for the grant; and <br />WHEREAS, the project agreement between the City of San Leandro and the ACTC is <br />presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof, and the City Manager <br />recommends approval of the project agreement. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro RESOLVES AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />1.
