(provides for an Agreement with the Alameda <br />County Transportation Commission to provide $75,000 grant for the design and <br />installation of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons for four crosswalks locations <br />in the City) <br />WHEREAS, on October 30, 2020, Alameda County Transportation Commission (ACTC) <br />granted the City of San Leandro $75,000 in discretionary funds to design and install Rectangular <br />Rapid Flashing Beacons for four crosswalks in the City; and <br />WHEREAS, ACTC requires an agreement in order to distribute the grant funds; and <br />WHEREAS, ACTC requires the City to provide a 1:1 match for the grant; and <br />WHEREAS, the project agreement between the City of San Leandro and the ACTC is <br />presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof, and the City Manager <br />recommends approval of the project agreement. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro RESOLVES AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />1.
