September 10, 2020Facilities & Transportation <br />Committee <br />Minutes <br />community will be served (number served, seasonal factors, etc.) by proposed CIP <br />projects when scoring proposed projects. <br />c. Councilmember Lopez requested that staff describe to public that project <br />suggestions are in the medium to long term, not to be funded in the short term. She <br />asked that staff consider feasibility study for dog park project at the baseball field at <br />Thrasher Park. <br />This matter was Received and Filed <br />3.C.20-410 Staff Update on Project and Land Development Projects <br />COMMITTEE REQUESTS/DIRECTION TO STAFF: <br />a. Mayor Cutter requested that staff prepare an exhibit that she can forward to State <br />Senator Nancy Skinner and State Assembly Member Rob Bonta regarding the State’s <br />decertification of the land needed for the MacArthur Roundabout project to expedite <br />decertification process. <br />b. Councilmember Cox concurred with Mayor Cutter and offered to work with Caltrans <br />staff as well. <br />c. Councilmember Lopez concurred with Mayor Cutter. <br />This matter was Received and Filed <br />3.D.20-411 Discussion Regarding Future Agenda Items <br />COMMITTEE REQUESTS/DIRECTION TO STAFF: <br />a. Mayor Cutter requested adding update on AC Transit bus routes, update on <br />proposed Marina park at Shoreline and Climate Action Plan to future agendas. <br />b. Councilmember Cox requested moving the date of Climate Action Plan update <br />sooner than currently planned, Bancroft Avenue traffic calming and Manor Boulevard <br />Streetscape. <br />c. Councilmember Lopez concurred with Mayor Cutter. She also requested review of <br />Monarch Bay parking lot near Shoreline and feasibility of keeping that lot open for <br />public use during construction and feasibility of construction of Marina Mulford Library <br />before Shoreline development. <br />This matter was Received and Filed <br />COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS4. <br />There were no Committee Member comments. <br />ADJOURN5. <br />The meeting adjourned at 5:58 p.m. <br />Page 3City of San Leandro <br />100
