The majority of each <br />ground floor commercial facade shall <br />be transparent along streets, pedestrian <br />pathways, or plazas, providing visibility <br />into and out of the space through <br />clear windows. Window films, mirrored <br />glass, and spandrel glass are strongly <br />discouraged. <br />7. SIDEWALK EXTENSION. Areas between <br />the right-of-way and a commercial <br />building face near the street shall be <br />paved as though they are extensions of <br />the sidewalk. EXTERIOR ACTIVE USES. Exterior spaces <br />such as outdoor dining areas, amenities <br />such as seating areas and community <br />gathering areas, bicycle parking, public <br />open spaces, plazas, and landscape <br />areas are strongly encouraged in private <br />frontage zones. <br />9.
