<br />4 of 53 <br /> <br /> <br />All pest control services shall be performed in accordance with Federal, State, and local <br />laws and regulations. Any chemicals used during the service must be approved for its <br />intended use and applied in a manner consistent with the regulations established by the <br />State of California, Department of Pesticide Regulation and consistent with Federal and <br />Cal OSHA standards. <br /> <br />The Contractor shall adhere to the City’s Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Policy and <br />take special care to protect the public from any exposure to pest control traps, bait <br />stations, and chemicals. <br /> <br />Authorized Work Days and Hours <br />All work shall be done Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. <br />excluding designated City holidays and observances, unless otherwise directed by the <br />Building Supervisor. <br /> <br />The following are the designated City holidays and observances: <br /> <br />New Year’s Day January 1 <br />Martin Luther King’s Birthday Third Monday in January (observed) <br />Lincoln’s Birthday Second Monday in February (observed) <br />Washington’s Birthday Third Monday in February (observed) <br />Memorial Day Last Monday in May <br />Independence Day July 4 <br />Labor Day First Monday in September <br />Veterans’ Day November 11 <br />Thanksgiving Fourth Thursday and Friday in November <br />Holiday Closure Typically Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day <br /> <br />Service Inspection Reports <br />Contractor shall provide to the Deputy Public Works Director a monthly service report for <br />all City Facilities by the fifth day of the succeeding month. The report shall include: <br /> <br />1. Date and location of service <br />2. Technician name and license number <br />3. Service description including indoor and/or outdoor application <br />4. List of pesticides used including: EPA #, active ingredient, undiluted quantity, and <br />target pest <br />5. Notation if no pesticides were applied <br /> <br />The report shall be provided in an electronic format. <br /> <br />34
