McDaniel <br />Announcements1.B. <br />Members of the Disaster Council introduced themselves and the agencies they <br />represent. <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS2. <br />City of San Leandro response to COVID-19 <br />• San Leandro City Council <br />2.A. <br />Mayor Cutter thanked everybody joining the meeting and reminded everyone that the <br />information being shared is important for the city and to make sure that the City is <br />ready to assist in any way when the vaccines are available and to provide them in an <br />equitable way. The Mayor introduced Fran Robustelli the new interim City Manager. <br />Vice Mayor Aguilar thanked his colleagues for electing him as vice mayor. The state <br />has secured over 450,000 doses and dentists will be able to administer vaccines, <br />along with pharmacists and the national guard. Where in the process is the City and <br />what happened with the outbreak at San Jose Kaiser? <br />Councilmember Lopez mentioned that we are excited for the COVID vaccines and <br />wondered about the timelines and how the tiers will come through. She also requested <br />that if there is some way the city can assist to get messages to the public in real time <br />as the information comes through.
