<br />Amendment No. 1 to <br />Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and BKF Engineers, Inc. for Annual Street <br />Overlay/Rehabilitation 2018-19 COSL Project No. 2019.0050 Page 1 of 3 <br />AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND <br />BKF ENGINEERS, INC. <br />FOR <br />ANNUAL STREET OVERLAY/REHABILITATION 2018-19 <br /> PROJECT NO. 2019.0050 <br /> <br />This Amendment No. 1 (“Amendment”) is made by and between the City of San Leandro (“City”) <br />and BKF Engineers, Inc. (“Consultant”) (together sometimes referred to as the “Parties”) as of ________, <br />2021, and amends that certain Consulting Services Agreement (“Agreement”) dated July 31 , 2018, <br />between the Parties. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City and Consultant have executed the Agreement, pursuant to which Consultant has <br />provided certain consulting services to City with regard to the Annual Overlay / Rehabilitation 2018-19, <br />Project No. 2019.0050; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the Agreement to include additional design consulting <br />services. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is hereby <br />acknowledged, the Parties hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows: <br /> <br />1. Section 1.1 of the Agreement entitled “Term of Services” is hereby amended to extend the <br /> term from December 31 2019, to December 31, 2021; and <br /> <br />2. Section 2 of the Agreement entitled “Compensation” is hereby amended to pay the Consultant <br /> a sum not to exceed SIX HUNDRED AND NINETY-SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS <br />($697,000); and <br /> <br />3. Exhibit A of the Agreement entitled “Scope of Services” is hereby amended as follows: <br /> <br /> Task 4: Construction Documents (90% PS&E and Final) <br /> 4.1 Construction Documents - Add the following: <br /> Consultant shall prepare plans, specifications and estimates for installation of solar <br />powered rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFB) at the following Locations: <br />o Lewelling Blvd at Dewey St <br />o Lewelling Blvd at Calgary St <br />o Lewelling Blvd at Andover Street <br />o MacArthur Blvd at Victoria Ave <br /> <br /> Task 6: Project Management <br /> 6.3 Meetings – Add the following: <br /> The consultant shall attend meetings with City staff (four hours) to coordinate the design <br /> and installation of the RRFBs. <br /> <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: C4E1282A-CE40-49D6-BE60-633E65A69FA4 <br />February 24
