IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018-094 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO TO <br />APPROVE A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR $673,000 WITH BKF <br />ENGINEERS FOR DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE ANNUAL STREET <br />OVERLAY/REHABILITATION 2018-1.9, PROJECT NO. 2019.0050; AUTHORIZATION FOR <br />THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND APPROVE INDIVIDUAL CONTRACT <br />AMENDMENTS UP TO 5% OF THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT AMOUNT; AND <br />AUTHORIZATION FOR THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND APPROVE <br />CONTRACT AMENDMENTS UP TO A CUMULATIVE VALUE OF 25% OF THE ORIGINAL <br />CONTRACT AMOUNT (PROVIDES FOR CITY MANAGER'S AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER <br />INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH BKF ENGINEERS TO PREPARE THE SURVEYS AND <br />DESIGNS FOR THE ANNUAL STREET OVERLAY/REHABILITATION 2018-1.9 PROJECT) <br />WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and BKF Engineers, a copy of which <br />is attached, was presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; <br />and <br />That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve individual contract <br />amendments up to a maximum of $33,650, which is 5% of the original contract amount, each; and <br />That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve cumulative contract <br />amendments up to a maximum of $168,250, which is 25% of the original contract amount. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Cox and passed and adopted this 23rd day of July 2018, by the <br />following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Ballew, Cox, Ilernandez, Lee, Lopez, Thomas; Mayor Cutter (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />EXCUSED: None / (0) <br />A"TTES"T <br />"I'amika Greenwood, City Clerk <br />RESOLUTION' NO. 2018-094 <br />
