<br />Amendment No. 1 to Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro 12/01/2021 <br />and Local Artist Berkely Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND LOCAL ARTISTS BERKELEY <br />FOR TEMPORARY LOAN OF ARTWORK FOR DISPLAY ON CITY-OWNED PROPERTY <br /> <br />This Amendment No 1 (“Amendment”) is made by and between the City of San Leandro (“City”) <br />and Local Artist Berkeley (“Consultant” or “LAB”) (together sometimes referred to as the “Parties”) as of <br />December 1, 2021 and amends that certain Consulting Services Agreement (“Agreement”) dated August 1, <br />2020 between the Parties. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City and Consultant have executed the Agreement, pursuant to which Consultant has <br />agreed to provide services related to the curation, coordination and installation of Artwork for temporary <br />display on City-owned property in San Leandro, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the Agreement to extend its duration through June 30, <br />2023, to facilitate the installation of additional artwork, and to add additional monies to off-set the costs of <br />that artwork. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is hereby <br />acknowledged, the Parties hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows: <br /> <br />1. Section 1.1 of the Agreement entitled “Term of Services” is hereby amended to extend the <br />term from June 30, 2022 to June 30, 2023; and <br /> <br />2. Section 2 of the Agreement entitled “Compensation” is hereby amended to pay Contractor a <br />sum not to exceed an additional $16,000 (for a total Agreement compensation amount of $31,000); and <br /> <br />3.
