Memorandum of Understanding Page 2 of 5 <br /> <br />A. Acceptance of this MOU by Spectrum Community Services will include <br />acknowledgment of the following responsibilities: <br /> <br />1. Spectrum will provide the following: “EnhanceWellness” program to clients <br />who are 60 years of age or older, and reside in the city of San Leandro. <br />EnhanceWellness is a one-on-one coaching program that focuses on the <br />client’s individual needs. The meeting schedule and method of delivery <br />(telephone, or virtual audio/video internet platform) will be determined <br />during the initial contact between the Spectrum wellness coach and the <br />client. Method of delivery of meetings will be in accordance with <br />recommendations from State and County health officials with regard to <br />COVID-19. <br /> <br />2. Spectrum will provide the following: One-hour fitness, strength, and balance <br />classes via an audio/video internet platform. Classes are available to any <br />resident of San Leandro 60 years of age or older. Class sizes are limited for <br />the safety of participants. Spectrum will provide class offerings to the City for <br />inclusion in program catalogs. Spectrum reserves the right to make changes <br />to these class schedules whether expected or unexpected. Changes to the <br />method of delivery will be in accordance with recommendations from State <br />and County health officials with regard to COVID-19. <br /> <br />3. Spectrum will provide City with a yearly calendar of scheduled holidays. <br />Spectrum will notify City staff of any changes in its holiday schedule at least <br />one month prior to the date affected. <br /> <br />4. Spectrum will give the City notice in writing of any proposed change of <br />scheduling of the Fall Prevention Program offerings. Spectrum will provide <br />the City with any reasoning for any such proposed change. <br /> <br />5. Spectrum will observe wellness coaches to be sure they are following the <br />evidence-based program known as EnhanceWellness. <br /> <br />6. Spectrum wellness coaches and fitness instructors are CPR and First Aid <br />certified. <br /> <br />7. Spectrum will take responsibility for quarterly registration and manage <br />waiting lists. <br /> <br />8. Spectrum will distribute weights to participants who are unable to obtain <br />such equipment on their own.
