Amendment No. 1 to Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and Glass Architects March 1, 2021 for the Family Aquatics Center Competition Pool Page 1 of 3 AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND GLASS ARCHITECTS FOR FAMILY AQUATIC CENTER COMPETION POOL This Amendment No.1 (“Amendment”) is made by and between the City of San Leandro (“City”) and Glass Architects (“Consultant”) (together sometimes referred to as the “Parties”) as of May 7, 2018, and amends that certain Consulting Services Agreement (“Agreement”) dated _________, 2021, between the Parties. WHEREAS, City and Consultant have executed the Agreement, pursuant to which Consultant has provided certain consulting services to City with regard to Family Aquatics Center Competition Pool, and WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the Agreement to provide addition design services. NOW THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the Parties hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows: 1. Section 1.1 of the Agreement entitled “Term of Services” is hereby amended to extend the term from June 30, 2019, to December 31, 2022; and 2. Section 2 of the Agreement entitled “Compensation” is hereby amended to pay Consultant a sum not to exceed THREE HUNDRED FIFTY EIGHT THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SEVENTY DOLLARS ($358,470); and 3. Exhibit A of the Agreement entitled “Scope of Services” is hereby amended as follows: Added the following items to the Scope of Work, Construction Documents section: o Landscape design to achieve CA ReScape (Bay Friendly) Certification o Electrical lighting design for luminaire replacement of existing deck lighting and added park pathway lighting o Civil design of rainwater biotreatment area for runoff from Zelma Street frontage. o Revisions to the interior of the existing mechanical room: new boiler alignment, replace damage conduit, and new sample station sink and storage shelving. o Site plan revisions to include repair of spalled deck concrete around family pool, removal of existing spray ground, and installing access door in existing gas meter enclosure wall. o Competition scoreboard system structural and electrical design o Two perspective renderings of improvements; including view from deck level and an overview of site including the parking lot.
