<br />Amendment No. 1 to <br />Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and Glass Architects March 1, 2021 <br />for the Family Aquatics Center Competition Pool Page 1 of 3 <br />AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND <br />GLASS ARCHITECTS <br />FOR <br />FAMILY AQUATIC CENTER COMPETION POOL <br /> <br /> <br />This Amendment No.1 (“Amendment”) is made by and between the City of San Leandro (“City”) <br />and Glass Architects (“Consultant”) (together sometimes referred to as the “Parties”) as of May 7, 2018, <br />and amends that certain Consulting Services Agreement (“Agreement”) dated _________, 2021, between <br />the Parties. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City and Consultant have executed the Agreement, pursuant to which Consultant has <br />provided certain consulting services to City with regard to Family Aquatics Center Competition Pool, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the Agreement to provide addition design services. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is hereby <br />acknowledged, the Parties hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows: <br /> <br />1. Section 1.1 of the Agreement entitled “Term of Services” is hereby amended to extend the <br />term from June 30, 2019, to December 31, 2022; and <br /> <br />2. Section 2 of the Agreement entitled “Compensation” is hereby amended to pay Consultant a <br />sum not to exceed THREE HUNDRED FIFTY EIGHT THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SEVENTY <br />DOLLARS ($358,470); and <br /> <br />3. Exhibit A of the Agreement entitled “Scope of Services” is hereby amended as follows: <br /> <br />Added the following items to the Scope of Work, Construction Documents section: <br />o Landscape design to achieve CA ReScape (Bay Friendly) Certification <br />o Electrical lighting design for luminaire replacement of existing deck lighting and added park <br />pathway lighting <br />o Civil design of rainwater biotreatment area for runoff from Zelma Street frontage. <br />o Revisions to the interior of the existing mechanical room: new boiler alignment, replace <br />damage conduit, and new sample station sink and storage shelving. <br />o Site plan revisions to include repair of spalled deck concrete around family pool, removal <br />of existing spray ground, and installing access door in existing gas meter enclosure wall. <br />o Competition scoreboard system structural and electrical design <br />o Two perspective renderings of improvements; including view from deck level and an <br />overview of site including the parking lot. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: 9EDA509D-0C55-45BC-B4C6-9A2E09A476BD <br />May 24,
