(SOS/Meals On <br />Wheels) for $35,000; Spectrum Community Services (San Leandro Senior <br />Nutrition Program) for $24,909; and Eden Council for Hope and Opportunity <br />(ECHO Housing) for $10,000 (Approves 5 Agreements Totaling $128,253) <br />SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve a resolution to enter into nine (9) grant <br />agreements with the following nonprofit public service providers: <br />·Child Abuse Listening, Interviewing, and Coordination Center (CALICO) ($23,344); <br />·Davis Street Family Resource Center ($35,000); <br />·Service Opportunities for Seniors (SOS), Inc. /Meals on Wheels ($35,000); <br />·Spectrum Community Services (Senior Nutrition Program) ($24,909); <br />·Eden Council for Hope & Opportunity Housing for fair housing services (ECHO Housing) <br />($10,000); <br />These CDBG projects noted in the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development HUD <br />Annual Action Plan were approved by the City Council on May 3, 2021 under the Fiscal Year <br />2021-2022 U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Annual Action Plan. <br />BACKGROUND <br />For FY 2021-2022, the five (5) agreements totaling $128,253 require City Council approval.
