City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: July 19, 2021 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:21-372 PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Fran Robustelli <br />City Manager <br />BY:Susan Hsieh <br />Finance Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW:Susan Hsieh <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council to Impose Liens for <br />Non-Payment of Delinquent 2021 Solid Waste Service Charges, Certified <br />Unified Program Agency (CUPA) Fees, Code Compliance Administrative <br />Penalties and Charges, Planning Permit Fees, and Sidewalk Repairs. <br />WHEREAS, City of San Leandro City Council reviewed the Reports of the Finance Director <br />and List No. 2021-001 for solid waste fees and charges, List No. 2021-002 for CUPA fees, List <br />No. 2021-003 for code compliance administrative penalties and charges, List No. 2021-004 for <br />planning permit fees, and List No. 2021-005 for sidewalk repairs, copies of which are attached <br />hereto and incorporated herein. All of said charges are currently unpaid and delinquent; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the San Leandro Municipal Code, notice was duly given of the time <br />and place of hearing on said delinquent charges and upon any objections or protest by any of the <br />property owners subject to lien for non-payment of such delinquent charges; and <br />WHEREAS, said hearing was regularly set for the hour of 6:30 p.m. on July 19, 2021 via a <br />virtual meeting; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro City Council has heard and passed on objections and <br />protests of the property owners liable to be assessed for charges. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council hereby RESOLVES as follows: <br />That the Reports of the Finance Director concerning non-payment of City service charges and <br />bearing list numbers 2021-001, 2021-002, 2021-003, 2021-004 and 2021-005 are confirmed; <br />and <br />That said assessments of delinquent charges of the City of San Leandro are hereby approved <br />and confirmed and a lien is hereby imposed upon said real property in the amount set therein; <br />and <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 7/15/2021 <br />573
