City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: September 7, 2021 <br />Staff Report <br />Agenda Section:File Number:21-478 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number:8.J. <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Fran Robustelli <br />City Manager <br />BY:Fran Robustelli <br />Interim City Manager <br />FINANCE REVIEW:Susan Hsieh <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:Staff Report for a City of San Leandro City Council Resolution to Approve Annual <br />Renewal for Fiscal Years 2022-2023 with Dude Solutions, Inc. for Facilities <br />Management, Mobile 311, Parks, and Water Plan Management Software <br />Systems for the Amount of $93,705.12, and Appropriate $37,399.56 from the IT <br />Fund 688 to Account 688-13-001-5311 to cover the costs. <br />SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve and authorize the City Manager to execute an <br />agreement to pay Dude Solutions, Inc. $93,705.12 in Fiscal Year 2021-2022 for renewal of a <br />suite of applications, including the City’s Facilities Management Systems, Mobile 311 System, <br />and systems for Parks & Forestry and Water Plant Treatment & Management. <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City of San Leandro has maintained an annual subscription contract with Dude Solutions <br />since 2015, after the company was selected during an RFP process. <br />Analysis <br />The City of San Leandro subscribes to a suite of cloud-based applications from Dude Solutions, <br />Inc., including Capital Forecast and Asset Essentials, which make up the City’s Facilities <br />Management System. <br />Dude Solutions, Inc. is also the provider of the Mobile 311 application, which the City uses under <br />the name “My SL.” <br />Staff has implemented additional modules, including ProFacilities/Physical Plant and Pro <br />Treatment, both used in the Water Pollution Control Plant; and Pro Parks, Recreation, and <br />Forestry, used to manage the City’s Public Parks and Trees. <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 9/2/2021 <br />435
