April 6, 2021Finance Committee Minutes <br />Acting Chief Torres recommended that the City Council Finance Committee direct staff <br />to research funding opportunities for Shot Spotter Technology. <br />Committee is interested in moving forward, but wanted to review and revise the <br />presentation for Council to include privacy concerns, etc. Committee also wanted to <br />ensure that the police department practice transparency with the use of this technology <br />(e.g. City of Oakland's current practice.) <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS3. <br />None were provided. <br />COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS4. <br />No additional comments were provided. <br />ADJOURN5. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 6:08 p.m. <br />Page 3City of San Leandro
