14. Part 11 Green Building Standards Code 4.106.4.2: New multifamily dwellings <br />need to have at least 10% of total parking sites be electric vehicle (EV) charging <br />spaces capable of supporting future EVSE. Prior to issuance of building permits, <br />Applicant/Property Owner shall provide details of the project's facilitation of EV <br />charging. <br />15. Comply with 2019 California Energy Code Nonresidential, High -Rise Residential, <br />Hotel/Motel. <br />16. Comply with 2019 California Energy Code for Building Commissioning. <br />17. Part 6 Energy Code Section 110.10 (b)-(d): complywith mandatory requirements <br />for solar ready buildings. Prior to issuance of building permits, provide details of <br />the project's solar zone as in compliance with requirements in Title 24. <br />IX. WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT REQUIREMENTS <br />1. This project will be subject to the sewer connection fee applicable at the time the <br />building permit is issued. This will include a per -unit fee as well as fee based on <br />square footage of office or common space. <br />X. PUBLIC WORKS REQUIREMENTS <br />1. Per the California Solid Waste Reuse and Recycling Access Act of 1991 to <br />assure adequate areas for collecting and loading recyclable materials, the <br />building shall provide readily accessible solid waste and recycling disposal <br />area(s). Disposal area(s) shall be located within a reasonable walking distance <br />from each unit served. Public Works uses a guideline of approximately 250 feet <br />to denote "reasonable walking distance from each unit served." <br />2. Driveways and/or travel aisles shall provide unobstructed access for collection <br />vehicles and personnel. <br />3. Applicant/Property Owner must ensure that there is adequate space for a <br />collection vehicle to enter and exit the property in order to service each container <br />(dumpster, compactor or roll -off). For safety reasons, a turnaround must be <br />provided for any street that would otherwise require the collection truck to back <br />up a distance greater than 150 feet. If a turnaround is required, the <br />Applicant/Property Owner must provide a 40- foot turning radius for collection <br />trucks. <br />4. The property owner, occupant and tenants shall maintain enclosures)/trash <br />chute termination rooms free of litter and other debris in accordance with the San <br />Leandro Municipal Code §3-15-215. The franchised waste hauler is responsible <br />for replacement of containers in the event that they are in a condition of disrepair. <br />5. Per the San Leandro Municipal Code §3-1-200, storage of solid waste, recycling, <br />and other materials outside of the enclosure that is visible from the street is <br />prohibited at all times. <br />Recycling Requirements. Applicant/Property Owner is subject to Alameda <br />County Mandatory Recycling Ordinance 2012-01. For more information, visit <br />www.
