b Maintenance <br />, Empty the oil <br />CAUTION: Compressed Gas Hazard <br />' Air inside the chamber may cause parts or liquid to be propelled with force. Be careful <br />when opening. Allow the chamber to de -pressurize before removal of the plug. <br />Fill with oil <br />1. Place the pump in a horizontal position and unscrew the oil plug. <br />If the pump has a hole with the markings "oil out" it is important that this hole is used <br />for drainage. <br />2. Place a container under the pump and turn the pump. <br />3. Unscrew the other oil plug. <br />If this hole has the markings "oil in", raise the pump upright for a short period of time <br />during drainage in order to drain all the oil. <br />The oil should be a medical white oil of paraffin type that fulfills FDA 172.878 (a) and <br />viscosity close to VG32. Examples of suitable oil types are the following: <br />• Statoil MedicWay 32� <br />• BP Enerpar M 004- <br />• Shell Ondina 927- <br />9 Shell Ondina X43C <br />1. Replace the O-rings of the oil plugs. <br />2. Refit an oil plug in the hole that faces downwards or is marked "oil out", and tighten. <br />Tightening torque: 10-40 Nm (7.5-29.5 ft-lb) <br />3.
